throughout my filmmaking journey, i have actively pursued projects that shed light on the stories of marginalized communities. by focusing on amplifying the voices of female creators and the LGBTQIA+ community, i aim to bring greater diversity and inclusivity to the forefront of the film industry. over the years, i have been fortunate to contribute to over 40 film projects, encompassing both student films and independent productions. these experiences have allowed me to hone my skills in various roles and departments, granting me a comprehensive understanding of the entire filmmaking process. among my noteworthy achievements, i have the privilege of currently working on the documentary "the stolen children," which delves into the cambodian adoption scandal. as a cinematographer on this project, i had the honor of collaborating with the acclaimed emmy award-winning documentarian, Alyse Walsh and Christopher Gill.
in my role as a director, i take immense pride in my most recent project, "boysenberry night." this queer coming-of-age short film explores themes of identity and self-discovery. the narrative unfolds during the opening night of "romeo and juliet," where the two main characters, consumed by gender envy, yearn to play each other's roles. i have poured my heart into this film, showcasing my directorial vision and commitment to telling stories that resonate with audiences on a profound level.
